[FFA] Students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting Present the First Progress Report on Their Theses

On the morning of Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, organized the First Thesis Progress Report for students of classes 22KT111, 22KT112, 22NH111, and 22LG111. The program was conducted online via Zoom, with the active participation of academic supervisors, evaluation committees, and students.

The purpose of the session was to assess students’ initial research outcomes, while providing timely support for revising and adjusting research orientation, methodology, content, and progress. In addition, the event offered students an opportunity to practice essential academic skills, including scientific research methods, presentation techniques, and thesis defense before the committee—critical preparation for the final stage of thesis completion.

A total of 157 research projects were presented during this reporting session:

  • Accounting: 71 projects by 85 students.

  • Finance and Banking: 38 projects by 46 students.

  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: 48 projects by 55 students.

The evaluation committee was divided into four subcommittees, comprising experienced faculty members, including Dr. Ly Thi Thu Hien, MSc. Le Thuy Tien, MSc. Bui Van Thuy, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, along with other committee members. The faculty carefully listened to student presentations and provided constructive feedback and insightful recommendations, enabling students to refine their research direction for the subsequent stages.

In her remarks, the leadership of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting emphasized that this activity not only enhances the quality of theses but also demonstrates the faculty’s continuous efforts in educational innovation, with a strong focus on equipping students with both practical competencies and research skills.

The session was conducted in a serious and scholarly manner, yielding highly positive outcomes. It serves as an important foundation for students to further improve their theses, aiming for high-quality graduation results that meet the increasingly rigorous demands of the labor market.
