More than 270 LHU students awarded digital badges from ASU

The summer of 2025 marked a milestone for LHU as more than 270 digital badges were awarded to its students by Arizona State University (ASU), the most innovative university in the United States. LHU not only helps students gain international certificates but also opens real pathways for them to reach the global stage.

Digital badge - A “skills passport” for the future

Unlike traditional paper certificates, each digital badge contains a unique security token, ensuring transparency, authenticity, and worldwide verifiability. Students can easily store and showcase their badges on LinkedIn, CVs, or international scholarship applications, serving as a “skills passport” that helps them stand out to recruiters and scholarship committees.

Academic value - practical, creative, and comprehensive

Beyond providing knowledge, the ASU Master Class offers international training experiences directly in Vietnam.

- Entrepreneurial mindset: from social awareness and curiosity to personal financial management.

- Business strategies for creators: turning passion into tangible value and building personal brands.

- Creative and critical thinking: encouraging the courage to question and to experiment.

- Adaptability in the age of uncertainty: fostering flexibility, emotional management, and collaborative skills.

- Future-oriented thinking for sustainability: enhancing awareness of community and environmental responsibility.

Each session was a “mini-model” of an international classroom: from discussions, idea presentations to the practice of creative thinking and global skills without leaving Vietnam.

Pham Thi Van Anh, a Pharmacy student, shared: “I used to think soft skills were difficult to measure, but through the ASU Master Class, every skill is made concrete and linked to international certifications. I feel confident showcasing these digital badges on my CV to demonstrate my abilities to employers”.

Nguyen Doanh, a Public Relations student, stated: “What impressed me most is how the lecturers encourage students to ask questions and think critically. Each session feels like a journey of expanding creative thinking, helping me to think further about entrepreneurship and personal financial management”.

I especially enjoyed the content related to adaptability and sustainability-oriented thinking. These are skills that engineering students like us often overlook, but they are in fact crucial when stepping into the global workplace”, said Nguyen Hoang Tuan Hung, a Multimedia Communications student.

Strategic partnerships – LHU’s global vision

Through the ASU Master Class and collaborative projects with the Cintana Alliance and ASU, LHU reaffirms its strong commitment to empowering students with access to global knowledge.

At LHU, each digital badge is not only the conclusion of a semester, but also a firm foundation for nurturing competencies, international integration, and career growth.

LHU students now hold not only transparent, globally recognized digital credentials, but also a comprehensive skill set, ranging from creativity, entrepreneurship, and adaptability to sustainability-oriented thinking. These values are reinforced by ASU’s quality of education and the modern learning models of international programs delivered right here in Vietnam.

In an increasingly competitive global job market, this distinction can serve as a solid foundation for both further studies and career pathways. LHU is not only committed to high-quality education but also a pioneer in connecting students with a global vision.
