LHU Student Fest 2025: Vibrant and high-energy

Vibrant, energetic and memorable... These are the words that best capture the spirit of LHU Student Fest 2025, held on September 17 to warmly welcome new students. More than just a starting playground, the event serves as an orientation activity, affirming LHU’s commitment to accompany students on their journey of study and self-development.

“I was really overwhelmed by the warm welcome from the University. What I loved most was the business zone, where I got to learn about job opportunities and the essential skills to prepare for during my studies", shared Nguyen Song Yen Phung, a freshman majoring in Public Relations.

Taking place in a bustling atmosphere at Campus 2, the festival featured colorful booths from 30 student clubs – spanning academics, research, languages, arts, media, sports, and even entrepreneurship. It was a perfect opportunity for freshmen to experience the colorful spectrum at LHU.

At the festival, freshmen had to push themselves through six stations, conquering challenges to collect journey points. The more points they earned, the more valuable the rewards. Alongside club activities, the Student Fest also featured a vibrant art program with youthful music performances, a fun Loto Show, and especially the appearance of a beloved Gen Z singer from Vietnam Kun, which ignited a passionate atmosphere.

Duong Ngoc Quynh Nhi, a freshman majoring in Pharmacy, expressed her surprise and happiness at being one of the five students to win the special prize — a laptop worth 15 million VND: "I never thought I’d be so lucky to win such a big prize on my very first day at LHU. The School is amazing, and I’m sure this laptop will help me study even better".

The total value of gifts for freshmen this year reached 200 million VND, including 5 laptops, 1 desktop computer, and thousands of learning-support items. Yet, the most valuable “gifts” were the confidence, courage, and friendships students gained as they boldly participated, connected, and challenged themselves in a new environment.

In its training strategy, LHU not only emphasizes academic knowledge but also aims to nurture a well-rounded generation of students. Student Fest stands as a vivid testament, where students learn through practice, grow through experiences, and stay connected through community.

More than just a fun event, the LHU Student Fest 2025 marked the first step for freshmen to integrate, grow, and shine in their university journey. Thanks to thoughtful preparation, the program gave the 2k7 students a day full of memories, helping them gain confidence, quickly adapt, and affirm themselves within the LHU community.
