On the occasion of the Vu Lan Festival 2026, faculty members, youth union members, and students from the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University jointly organized the program "Spreading Love – A Warm Vu Lan 2026," delivering meals and care to disadvantaged individuals in the local area.
Vu Lan is not only a time for everyone to remember filial piety and family bonds, but also an opportunity to extend compassion beyond the family and into the broader community. Embracing this spirit, on August 28, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Information Technology organized the "Spreading Love – A Warm Vu Lan 2026" initiative. The program targeted individuals facing hardship, night-shift workers, and those struggling with adversity in their daily lives.
No Great Gesture Needed to Begin a Good Deed
Equipped with carefully prepared meals, the students traveled along various routes to personally hand small gifts to those in need. Among them were elderly vendors working late into the night, individuals making a living on the streets, and families facing ongoing hardships.
